Vent, plut\u00f4t rafales debout, en direction de Coralejo \u00e0 vingt-cinq kilom\u00e8tres de distance. A notre droite la poussi\u00e8re tourbillonne sur les pierriers de lave \u00e9miett\u00e9e par le temps. Ici \u00ab\u00a0board\u00a0\u00bb ne signifie pas \u00ab\u00a0conseil d\u2019administration\u00a0\u00bb, mais \u00ab\u00a0planche\u00a0\u00bb! Planche \u00e0 voile, surf, kite, de la glisse, de la vitesse, du fun! Des vagues et du vent, les riders en sont addicts. Pas nous, mais on le regrette bien!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On ne compte plus les board shops, les shapers, \u00a0les surfs schools, o\u00f9 l\u2019Europe du Nord\u00a0 d\u00e9p\u00eache des escouades de sir\u00e8nes bor\u00e9ales. Elle viennent y comparer leur teint p\u00e2le \u00e0 la peau des \u00e9l\u00e9gantes ib\u00e9riques, cuivr\u00e9e par un soleil\u00a0 \u00e0 3000 heures de temps de travail, avant de se balancer ce monde fluo de la glisse. Les combis Volkswagen n\u2019y sont pas rare. Les toits des utilitaires sont surcharg\u00e9s de matos. Les vieux surfeurs, arriv\u00e9s il y a trente ou quarante ans en avions \u00e0 h\u00e9lices, y tiennent bars \u00e0 tapas et restaurants d\u2019un style mi local, mi branchouille.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Il faut d\u2019ailleurs s\u2019attarder dans ce nord de l\u2019ile, car, au centre et au sud, la c\u00f4te a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9figur\u00e9e, tandis que l\u2019int\u00e9rieur, m\u00eame s\u2019il offre des vues splendides, a toutes les allures d\u2019un djebel dess\u00e9ch\u00e9, sans eau ni ombre, peu propice aux longues nord nous effectuons des ballades sur des volcans \u00e9teints depuis des mill\u00e9naires, \u00e9galement dans des paysages de dunes blondes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" Il manque El Hierro, la plus au large, long\u00e9e alors que nous partions au Cap Vert sur le voilier d&rsquo;Odile et Jacques. Canaries attachantes qui m\u00e9ritent chacune le voyage, car il reste ais\u00e9 d&rsquo;y \u00e9viter les concentrations touristiques, pour profiter d&rsquo;un environnement surprenant et d&rsquo;habitants tr\u00e8s cordiaux d\u00e8s qu&rsquo;on manie, m\u00eame maladroitement, leur idiome.
