Vus d&rsquo;avion ces atolls montrent leur \u00e9trange g\u00e9om\u00e9trie, des anneaux de large diam\u00e8tre, quoique \u00e9troits et irr\u00e9guliers, formant digue entre oc\u00e9an et lagon. Au d\u00e9part un volcan \u00e9merge du fond de l&rsquo;oc\u00e9an, puis des coraux poussent sur les flancs int\u00e9rieurs et ext\u00e9rieurs du volcan, et lui survivent alors qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;enfonce et dispara\u00eet dans la croute terrestre. En quelques millions d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es l&rsquo;affaire est boucl\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Vu du sol il est bien joli cet atoll de Tikehau, au point de s&rsquo;inscrire au concours des plus belles cartes postales: plages de sable rose et eaux turquoises c\u00f4t\u00e9 lagon,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" Mais gare aux noix de coco! Elles font un gros ploc massif quand elles tombent, et on comprend qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a pas d&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 stationner sous un cocotier.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style
